the conduct of the party ward congresses in the
two geopolitical zones.

articulated even as they expressed readiness for
today’s local government congresses to elect new
executives for the local governments.
Col. Akonbundu speaking on the ward congresses
in the South-East said: “We are still articulating
the reports, but it was successful.
We are seriously preparing for the LG congress
and we hope to also make it a success.”

congresses was the party’s first step towards
reclaiming power at the centre in 2019.
Ojougboh in a telephone chat with the Saturday
Vanguard, held that the congresses which held
last weekend were transparent and devoid of
rancour in the South South.
